Ricci finds Gallo crazy

The cute and versatile actress Christina Ricci has criticized the Hollywood star Vincent Gallo as a ‘crazy lunatic man’. Christina has worked with the actor and director Gallo in his semi-autobiographical movie Buffalo 66 in 1998. But she was appalled and disturbed by Gallo’s decision to retrospectively criticize her weight as a teenager a number of years later. She says to the London’s Time Out magazine that "I was 17. It was my first movie away without my mother. Not a wise choice.” She added "I really didn't understand what was going on most of the time working with a crazy lunatic man. I'd never encountered such insanity. (Gallo said) horrible things. He waited three or four years and then decided to make fun of my weight at the time that we were shooting Buffalo 66. He waited that long to make fun of a 17-year-old. "It's so bizarre, and I hadn't seen him in years, I hadn't done anything to him. It was just like: okay, asshole.”

Christina Ricci can still delay her official ‘first night’

The sweet and charming actress Christina Ricci is not yet ready to have her official first night. Though her parents are willing that Ricci should settle down with beau Adam Goldeberg but Ricci says ‘no’ for the time being. Ricci and Goldenberg are dating each other since last three and a half years. Though for a while the celebrities estranged in 2006, they tied up again with each other soon. As of now, both Goldenberg and Ricci are being compelled by their respective families to tie knots with each other but the two are not yet ready for that. Ricci told contactmusic that "I needed to lose any sort of self-consciousness because I feel sometimes you can see self-consciousness in a performance when somebody is naked or in a nude scene. "I really needed for that not to be there, so to help me I stayed the way I would be for the scene all the time - in order to get the crew really used to seeing me that way. Not only was I comfortable, but I could look at anybody's face and see they were comfortable."

If ever there was a role that could point out the reason I'm an actress it was this one. she added that "I even told my therapist, if I didn't get the part, I was going to quit because I would have no idea what it was that people in the industry wanted from me."

"What I meant was that it so seemed like what I should be doing that, if I didn't get it, I would have no idea of what it was that people wanted me to be doing in this industry and what I was supposed to be doing," she explained.

And her vibrant audition for the character of Rae, a messed-up woman with a disturbing past, clinched the deal. Christina joked: "Nobody can freak out quite like me”.
